CHECKING ELEMENTARY STUDENTS OUT OF SCHOOL EARLY AND AFTER SCHOOL PROCEDURES
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Parents/guardians who must check their student out of school before the end of the school day are required to sign the student out at the school office. The need for strict security for children requires that parents/guardians not remove the child from school before regular dismissal time without notifying the office. Please park in the lot just west of the elementary school to enter the building to check students out.
The elementary school car line will begin at approximately 3:15 p.m. each school day. For student safety, when the car line begins, students will not be allowed to walk across the street until all cars are through the line. Use of the car line is highly encouraged for car riders. When the car line is complete, students who walk home and students whose parents have walked up to the school to pick them up will be released. The buses will pick elementary students up at approximately 3:35 p.m. to take them home.
After school, students will be allowed to go only to those locations authorized by their parent/guardian unless the parent/guardian sends a note to school or calls the office specifying otherwise. Any calls to the school regarding after school instructions for students must be made before 2:00 p.m.

Parents of Students in PK-5th Grades:
Morning Car Line will begin at 7:45 a.m. which is when our doors will open for students to go to their classrooms. All elementary students are to be dropped off at the elementary entrance.
Afternoon Car Line will begin at 3:15 p.m. If you are picking your student up at school please utilize the car line. Students who walk home will only be permitted to leave when the car line is complete. Bus riders will leave around 3:35 p.m.
We are so excited we get to see all our students tomorrow and are looking forward to a fantastic year!!!
Wednesday is the first day of school for the new school year!
ALL 6th-12th grade students need to report by 8:00 AM at the high school on the first day of classes.
This includes students attending CVTC and taking college classes; please report to the HS on the 1st day!
CVTECH enrollment finalization is Aug. 9th from 12:30-6:30. If are a student who is attending career tech, please go to Chickasha campus to complete enrollment for the tech center.
Schedule pick up for 6th-12th graders will be August 8th from 4:30-6:00 at the high school. All online enrollment & paper lunch forms must be completed to pick up your schedule. Enrollment information can be found at: https://www.alex.k12.ok.us/documents/2022-2023-enrollment-forms/355641

Enrollment is currently open online and can be completed at anytime. If you need assistance with enrollment help is available, Tuesday August 2nd from 11-1 and 4-6:30. This will be the final opportunity at this time if you are needing help with enrollment or need access to a computer. If you have successfully enrolled your child online you do not need to come to the school during this time.
