*FAFSA night for Jr/Sr parents and students on Monday @ the HS at 6:30. *School/Parent Partner Night on Tuesday at 6 in the HS library.
*Thursday early release day, buses will leave the school by 2:30; elem. car line can begin at 2:10.
*Friday, Oct. 14-Tuesday Oct. 18th -No School; Fall Break; classes resume on Wednesday October 19th.


Thank you to everyone that came and supported the Alex Academic Teams at the spaghetti dinner today! Congratulations to Alex Elementary for having the champion team and to the Anderson (A+) team for being 1st runner up in the Quiz Bowl. It was a fun day!

Parent-Teacher Conferences for Grades 6-12 will be Student Led. Your child has a form to complete and will verbally present it to you at a scheduled time with a teacher in attendance as a moderator and to answer questions. A TEACHER SHOULD BE REACHING OUT TO SCHEDULE THE MEETING THIS WEEK. With High School activities going on all teachers may not be available at all times. So please work with the scheduled time. If you have not been contacted by Monday, please let the office know. Thank you for prioritizing education and making time to attend conferences.

What a great day at the Barn on Main! Thank you Mrs. Otey for having us!!!! We had a wonderful time with arts and crafts, storytelling, snacks, learning about farm animals, and most of all the pumpkins!

Alex Public School is planning a Veteran's Day celebration on Friday, November 11, at 10:30 a.m. We would like to honor the veteran(s) that are special to you with a program and a video. Please send us your photo(s) if you want your honoree(s) to be included in the video. We need you to include their Name, Branch of Service, Dates of their service, and the relationship to the Alex Student. We ask that you turn in the pictures by Monday, October 24th to the elementary office or the high school office. You may also email the information to Mrs. McCauley at [email protected]. You may pick up your photo at the office after the program. Honoring our veterans is so important and we thank you for helping us in this effort.


College fair day for these seniors. They are a quiet group, but they stopped at several tables and asked questions.

Seniors, the college fair is tomorrow. Be ready to leave by 10:30 and make sure you are registered. Bring money for lunch.
