The October Alex 4-H club meeting is this Wednesday, Oct. 8th @ 3:30pm. All students are welcome, PK - 1st grade students need to be accompanied by a parent or older sibling. HS room 307.
Tonight, the elementary cheerleaders will perform at halftime! Don’t miss your chance to see them and support our Alex Longhorn football team.
Girls participating should meet Ms. Wallace near the elementary playground with 5 minutes remaining in the 2nd quarter. The game begins at 7:00.

The FAFSA is now open for seniors and is a graduation requirement. Seniors have been emailed step-by-step instructions to complete the process. The application can be found at the link below, and students should apply for the 2026–2027 school year, using their 2024 tax information.

Attention all Alex Alumni basketball players: The junior class is hosting an alumni game on October 12th at 6:00 pm. Get your old basketball shoes out and help support the junior class. Refer to the flyer for details.

Today begins the AHS mini cheer camp. Students participating will report to Ms. Wallace’s room at 3:30 and will be ready to be picked up at 5:00 in the elementary. Practices are 9/30, 10/1 and 10/2. If you have any questions please reach out to Ms. Wallace!

Reminder: Friday, September 26th is a scheduled virtual day. Students will have work sent home with them Thursday or can find their assignments on their google classrooms.

When Personal Electronic Devices are removed, students become creative and develop interactive personal skills.

Today our Alex music and GT students got to experience the Omanye Music Group from Ghana live at USAO. The students really enjoyed it, and a few even joined in to dance with the group! It was a great day to be a Longhorn!
