Mrs. Byrne will conduct student parent success meetings next week to coincide with parent teacher conferences. Students and parents are encouraged to attend. The meeting will include info on credits, graduation requirements, testing, grades, communication and a little more. Monday, October 9th, will be for freshman from 5:30-6:00 and seniors from 6:00-6:30. Tuesday, October 10th, will be for sophomores 5:30 - 6:00 and juniors from 6:00 - 6:30. We hope to see you.

Congratulations to our Conference All-Stars: Keegan Seward & Kailyn Montgomery and our All-Conference Softball girls: Carma Tucker and Cale Beckham. Congratulations goes out as well to Coach Morgen Hollingshed on coaching her first All-District Game! These ladies had a great cheering section at the All-Conference Game! We are proud of you!

Such a great 2023 Homecoming Bonfire! It was a fun night with our community, drumline, cheerleaders, and football team.
Due the change in the schedule this week, the 4-H clover-gram orders will be accepted through Friday. Order forms can be pick up in the front office of the HS and Elementary. Alex 4-H appreciates your support!
The high school staff jumped on the school spirit bandwagon and dressed up today. We also challenged our students to a friendly (or not) game of Volleyball.

Wednesday, September 27th, will be a virtual learning day for staff and students due to work being done on the City of Alex water lines. Students in the elementary will have work sent home with them today; middle school and high school students need to check their google classrooms or will have had work sent home with them. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Make plans to attend the homecoming bonfire this Thursday night at 7 pm! Any students 6th grade and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Tomorrow is the Elementary Glow Dance. It will be held from 5:30-7 in the high school cafeteria. Admission is $5. Extra glow items will be available for $1-$2. Pictures-$2. Students in PK-1st grades must be accompanied by an adult.

Alex 4-H is selling Clover-grams in celebration of National 4-H week. Orders are due this Thursday!
It's homecoming time!! Next week we begin our homecoming spirit week! Here are some of the fun events we have planned: daily dress up days, parade Friday at 2:30, coronation before the game and kick off at 7:00 pm! Come celebrate with us.
The Lady Longhorns just beat Bray Doyle 12-2 after an explosive 5th inning scored 6 runs. They will play Grandfield at 6 pm tonight (9/21/23) after Grandfield faces Bray-Doyle at 4:00 pm and will move on to play again tomorrow at 11:00 am!
This group of seniors attended the college fair at USAO. The students utilized their time slot well and stopped at so many booths.
