Alex Local Livestock Show, Trophy Auction and Fish Fry is tomorrow, Jan. 27th. Livestock Show starts at 9am at the Alex Show Barn. Fish Fry and Auction, @ 5pm in the High School Commons. Come out and support the Alex students who show livestock!

Thursday, January 25th, we will be playing 7/8 grade basketball at Pioneer. Girls will start at 4:00, boys will follow. Two games only. Freshmen will not be playing.
All elementary 100th day of school activities will be moved to Wednesday. If you have extra supplies you would like to donate, those can be sent to Mrs. Sturgell.
Good evening APS families: Due to incoming inclement weather, Alex Public School will be closed Monday, January 22, 2024. School and Monday evenings' games are cancelled. We hope you all are able to stay safe and warm.
Alex 4-H will be "Passing the Bucket" today during half-time of the girls basketball game to raise money for the OK Children's Hospital Foundation through our Change for Change service project. We greatly appreciate all of the community support each year. Thank you! ~Alex 4-H
Alex Little League will be hosting the last sign ups this Thursday January 18th from 5-6:30. Cost is $45 to play. Come out sign up for baseball and watch the Grady County Tournament.
3rd and 4th basketball pictures will be taken on January 26th during their athletic hour. Order forms will be going home this week or you can pick up extras in the Elem. Office.
Don't forget to bring your winter gear today, January 17th! We will take gently used or new coats, hats, gloves etc. Isabel is ready to help keep our community members warm.

We will utilize our text messaging/call out system, school Facebook page, notifications on the school app, live feed on the school webpage, as well as local news stations (Channels 4, 5, 9, 25 & NewsOK.com). If you are not receiving text messages, be sure you have not opted out. To re-engage text messages, text start to 98900 or email Amy Loggins at [email protected] to ensure the correct information is on file. A text message went out to families earlier today. If you did not receive it we either do not have the correct information on file or the number on file has opted out. To receive notifications on the app, be sure you have downloaded the Alex Public School App from the app store and have notifications switched to on through the app and your phone settings.
Don't forget about the winter gear drive going on right now. Bring gently used or new coats, hats, gloves etc to the high school office.
