
Alex library staff hosted a Grady Co. library consortium today and grew professionally. A special "thank you" to our neighboring school librarians for joining us!

Staff Spotlight!


We celebrated winning today in the elementary library.🥇Waylon Hiatt was awarded a gift card to purchase more books for best Silly Reading picture. Following a lesson over author's craft & reading "The Legend of Rock, Paper, Scissors", Briggs Burton was class champ of the game!



Tomorrow is spring pictures! Order forms have been sent home with elementary students, interested 6th-12th students need to pick one up at the HS office. Only students with a completed form will be taking pictures.


Alex 3rd & 4th graders will be playing in a basketball festival here at APS today. Parents will need to make arrangements to pick up their student after the games are over. There is a schedule of games attached. Parents are welcome to come watch their child play. Thank you!


The 5th and 6th track team will be back at the Fieldhouse at 5:20.
The athletes competed hard today and are coming home with many medals.

This is a reminder that the 5th-6th track team will leave at 7:40 am from the Fieldhouse Monday! The track meet is in Maysville and cannot wait to watch the kids compete! We will be bringing some drinks and a meal bag for each child. They can also bring food if they want. There is a concession if you want to send money.
