This is the only way that we will take orders. We will arrange pickup and payment through the email. Shirts are $18, plus extra for certain sizes. We will be unable to accept orders after today . CPR is a graduation requirement. The seniors will have CPR training on Sept. 19th at 11:30 am. Votech students will need to be back on time so they can get started.
The Lady Horns had a slow start and they were down 9-1 after the 1st inning. The ladies fought their way back and won the game 15-10. The girls are locked in on the coaches after getting a good win against the Bronchos. #picturesareforwinners

The drumline would like to offer our t-shirts for purchase to those who may want one. Here is the order form. Drumline members will have forms come home today. Drumline members and families should use those. School staff, community, and anyone outside of drumline that would like to order these shirts, PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL TO [email protected]. We are excited to announce that Alex School students will now receive a third meal/snack during the last hour of each day. This will be free of charge for all students PK-12th grade. These will begin on Monday, August 19.
It is that time of year! Hit up your favorite FFA student to place your Blue & Gold order.
If your child is getting on bus 4 at the Oasis gas station, please email the names of your children who are riding to Amy Loggins at [email protected], please have your children at the Oasis by 7:15. Also, just a friendly reminder to never pass a parked bus with the stop sign out. Once the buses have parked in front of the school, please do not go around them. Working together we can keep kids safe! Thank you!
Attention 6th-12th graders: All schedules have been sent to parents/guardians of the students who had ALL enrollment forms completed.
All 6th-12th grade students will meet in the gym after breakfast tomorrow, Aug. 14th., that includes career tech and concurrent students. We can not wait to see you all. It's great to be a Longhorn!!

Parent University will be on August 12, 2024.
Elementary parents/guardians: Please attend your student's parent/teacher meeting at the designated time. PK - 5:30-5:50, KG - 5:55-6:15, 1st - 6:20-6:35, 2nd - 6:40-7:00, 3rd - 7:05-7:25, 4th & 5th - 7:30-7:55. School employees will be available in the elementary gymnasium for students to play during their parent/teacher meeting time! Elementary students will meet their teachers anytime during the night besides the parent/teacher meeting time!
MS/HS Students Meet-the-Teacher will be from 7-8:30. 6th-grade orientation is at 7:00 in Room 203. Freshman orientation is at 7:30 in Room 304.
Alex Schools' Offices will all be closed on Monday, August 12, and Tuesday, August 13 for staff members to attend professional development meetings.
Parent University/Open House will be held on Monday evening from 5:30-8 in the elementary and 7:00-8:30 in the high school. We hope to see you all then!
Offices will be open Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. on the first day of school! 1st grade through 12th grade students may arrive as early as 7:30 for breakfast. Class begins at 8:00 a.m. PK and KG students will begin their day in the STEM room and may be dropped off from 7:30-8:00 a.m.
