The AHS Interscholastic team competed at the USAO contest yesterday, with several members walking away with top 3 honors. The chalk art festival was a bit of a wash-out, but we still had students show-off their artistic abilities! Great job Longhorns!

5-8 Choir families: We will be competing in the Arbuckle Choral Contest in Davis on Wednesday, April 30. Our students will be performing at 11:15 AM. We will be sending out more details after the concert, the middle of next week. Thank you.

The Junior High Track Meet at Wynnewood on April 8th has been canceled. It is being replaced with a High School Track Meet at Lindsay.
I will look for another Junior High meet that does not conflict with the spring schedule.

The Alex Longhorn Special Olympics team had a very successful day at the Regional Track and Field meet. They all earned the right to compete at the State Games in May! Congrats to each of them!

Staff Spotlight!
Our juniors kick off testing tomorrow, April 2nd, with the ACT. Testers need to be in their testing room by 8. Breakfast will be ready by 7:30 in the hospitality room. Students, please be on time to test. Good luck to our Juniors.
GAME TIME CHANGES for April 1st: Softball will begin play at Minco at 4:00 and Baseball will begin play at Alex at 3:30. JH will play first, with HS to follow.

Senior and Kindergarten Cap and Gown pictures are scheduled for April 16th.
Kindergarteners will begin pictures at 8:15 am. Caps and gowns are provided.
Seniors will begin at 11:45 am. Please check with Sr. sponsors if you are missing parts of your grad attire.

Pre-K Enrollment for the 2025-2026 School year will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Alex Elementary's STEM Room! Please bring the following forms of documentation: Proof of Residency, Official Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Shot Record, and CDIB Card, if applicable. Students who are 4 years old on or before September 1, 2025, are eligible to be enrolled.
