Welcome to the Longhorn Cafe, an Alex Public School life-skills project that benefits Alex Special Olympics. We are currently accepting donations to get our coffee and treat cart started. A link to our wish list is below. We also could use cookie, brownie or muffin mixes.
Alex students will learn about filling orders, costumer service, counting money and other valuable life skills through this project.

Congratulations to our August students of the month. 5th grade Kendyll Dunn & Kaisyn Reeves, 6th grade Kyleigh Waters & James Ford, 7th grade Jaylee Berry & Kyler Stewart, 8th grade Madison Byrne & Ray Pettit, and our HS Cale Beckham & Chase Byrne. They will be recognized tonight at half time of the football game.

Next Thursday, September 23rd’s basketball game with the fifth and six graders has been canceled due to district softball playoffs
The junior class will be selling eye black and personalized cow bells at the game this Friday. Help the Junior Class raise money for a safe after prom party while also supporting school spirit. #hornsup
