
We are super proud of these 5-6th graders that competed at the State Academic Meet yesterday! There were only 11 teams that made it to the State Tournament and these kids advanced all the way to the 4th round. Congratulations team!

The Alex Mixed Choir represented our school tremendously today by bringing home a trophy for a Superior performance at the first ever Jungle Ice Choir competition. The choir participated along with Pioneer’s Honor Choir and enjoyed a wonderful time making music together and enjoying a day of fun after the contest. We are so proud of these young talented vocalists!


Local scholarships are due today by 3:00. Please turn them in to Mrs. Byrne.

The 5th-6th grade Academic Team will be competing at the State Academic meet tomorrow! If you see them today, wish them luck. Team members: We will meet at the HS at 7:45am and travel to Dale for the contest.

It is with great sadness that we let the community know that beloved bus driver and long time Alex resident Ray Carter has passed away. He was loved by many and will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Baseball vs. Elmore City at home Monday March 28th. JH will play first at 4:30, followed by HS

Mrs. Byrne will be at the school this evening from 5-6 to help seniors with scholarships. This would be a good time to get transcripts as well.
