There will also be no HS games Tuesday June 14th.
Today’s the day!
7/8 grade boys basketball will leave at 9:00 tomorrow morning from the gym. I will have jerseys for them. We should arrive back at the school at approximately 1:30. Same times Friday.
Thank you to the livestock producers who supplied livestock for us to judge at camp. McLemore Farms, Fillipo Family Farms, Ratzlaff Show Goats and Southern Plains Genetics.
Longhorn Invitational Livestock Judging Camp was a big success. We had students from 8 different schools. Including judgers, ag teachers, workers and collegiate coaches we had 62 in attendance. Already making plans for next year.
The summer program kids had a great time last week at Factory Obscura!
These fantastic kiddos learned all about games this week…from their history to how they’re created. They even made their own game called Race to the Barn! They made the game board, rules and all the game pieces. So much fun! We wrap up our 3rd week of summer program tomorrow.
This lady has given 30 years of her life to the students & staff of Alex Public Schools and has decided she is ready to take it easy! She will be missed by everyone, but we sure hope she stops by for a visit from time to time during her retirement. We love you Cathy and we will miss you. The summer kids gave her a little impromptu send off.

Am-Po, June 9th & 10th. We will leave from the school at 9am both days. Camp should conclude at 1pm both days.
Junior High Baseball (incoming 7th-9th graders): June 6 @12:45 and 2:30 @ AmPo. Be at the field by 10:00 to load up
Alex JH Baseball plays Monday at 12:45 and 2:30 at Amber and we are meeting at the Alex field at 10:00am.
Week 2 of Summer Program 2022
We had a blast coming up with characters for our own comic strips with comic book artist Jerry Bennett. Our field trip tomorrow to Factory Obscura is tomorrow which will complete this week.
