Dani Wright and Harper Doty were the fans of the game this week! Great job, guys! The Stampede was loud and spirited! Keep bringing the noise and enthusiasm, Longhorns!

Our little school shows a lot of school spirit. It is fight song Friday. Dani Wright helped get it started during announcements. Our drumline, cheer squad, and football team finished it off at the end of the day with their classmates’ support. #longhornpride

Reminder, 4-6 grade, JH and HS football pictures today.

Come show your spirit and support our Longhorns!

First Grade and T-1 enjoyed a trip to the Lindsay Public Library! We had so much fun learning about what it takes to be a librarian and all the wonderful things a public library has to offer. We even got to listen to a neat story about animal homes. Definitely go get your library card! 📚💳📖

We practiced our green thumbs in Kindergarten this week with our mystery science lesson. We are germinating radish seeds.

Since we debuted our new drumline shirts Friday night, we have had overwhelming interest and requests for a public order of our t-shirts. If you would like to order a shirt and support your Longhorn drumline, order forms will be in the office for the next week. I would like to get the order placed by next Tuesday, the 20th. If we do that, shirts should be arriving somewhere right around the 1st of October. We need to get an order of 12 to be able to do a reorder. Shirts will be $23 with $5 extra for anything XL and up. I will need to have the money with the order in order to order your shirts, so please turn in your payment with your order form before next Tuesday to the HS office or you can send it straight to me with your student. Please make checks payable to the Alex Schools Music Activity Fund. Thank you for your support!

Don't forget to fix your hair! School pictures and Senior panel pictures are scheduled for tomorrow.

During our Longhorn pride we had a friendly, but competitive, game of running tic tac toe. Class officers in each grade competed. The faculty even had a chance and they were the CHAMPIONS!

Congratulations to our August students of the month. JH - Yoselyn Rios and Owen Pettit HS - Abby Pettijohn and Kyler Craddock

Science students have been busy over the last several weeks. Here's a few pictures from some of our lab days.

On behalf of the AHS Beta Club, thanks so much to the Ketchums, the Byrds, the parents, the community, and the great students who helped with the Indian Tacos today! They were phenomenal! Absolutely delicious! 🧡🖤🧡🖤

9th-12th graders worked on their ICaps (individual career academic plan) last week. They are planning and making goals.

In honor and remembrance of 9/11, this week's spirit theme was red, white, and blue. The fans of the game were Allie Hooper and Kyler Stewart! We appreciate your enthusiasm and spirit!
