Busy, but fun week in 5th grade learning about ecosystems and celebrating Veterans Day.
6th grade (no 5th grade) basketball will play AT Cement today. Girls at 4:00 and boys will follow. Just wanted to be sure there wasn't any confusion since 7/8 & JH are at home this evening vs. Minco.

Congratulations to Konner Shebester. Konner is selected as a National Finalist for the Heisman Scholarship and he is now in the running for the National winner. Konner will receive a $2000 scholarship as a national finalist. It’s a great day to be a Longhorn.
Thank you to Alex Graduates Chaz Alcorn, Chase Owens, and Kody Meeks for returning home to help clean up the campus for their Freshman Orientation class!!
Wednesday November 9th is picture day: yearbook retakes, 5/6, JH & HS basketball, JH choir and HS drumline. Order forms will go home on Monday and are due on picture day.

Today we will be wrapping up the Book Fair. We will be packing up starting about 1:00. So come do some shopping before pack up.
