Just a reminder that the presentation today regarding the dangers of Fentanyl will be at 12:45 in the High School Gym for the 7th and 8th grades. The presentation for High School students will start around 1:45 and also be in the High School Gym. Parents are encouraged to attend if able.

Don't forget to support the Alex Baseball Teams today from 11:30-2:00 in the high school commons. They will be serving a great spaghetti dinner. Donations appreciated.


Congrats to our boys! District champs! Way to go Longhorns! We will play Ft. Cobb at Alex next Thursday at 7:30. Alex girls will take on Maysville next Thursday at 1:30 at Alex.

District playoffs start tomorrow (Friday the 10th)! Don't forget Friday is Pajama day and Saturday is blackout day! The Lady Longhorns will play at Lookeba-Sickles high school at 6:00 and the Longhorns will follow both nights!

At Wednesday night's board meeting, the 5/6 grade Academic Regional Champions were recognized by the Alex board of education for their accomplishments. These students will be competing at the State Academic meet on April 1st at Dale High School. Pictured are students Luke Mainka, Ryder Drennan, Kaisyn Reeves and Owen Pettit, along with board members, Steven Burton, Amanda Chambers, Crystie Shebester, Tom Ketchum and Amy McLemore. Students Lillie Alecorn, Maddox Foster, Bentli Reeves, and Yoselyn Rios, also competed at the Regional Tournament. The board was excited to have the opportunity to recognize these amazing students!


These students attended the REC Leadership Sunmit today (Dani Wright not pictured in group). They are a great group and young men and women. Congratulations to Clara Jo for receiving a scholarship at the summit. Proud to be Longhorn.
