Congratulations to our 6th, 7th, and 9th graders and their teachers for their academic accomplishments. Thank you to all who made it to the game to be recognized. Our freshman football players were busy winning a game so they didn't get in the pictures, but they contributed to the success.

Tonight is a busy night at our football game and we hope you will come watch our Longhorns and see some great things happen. We will have some special recognition tonight, Oct. 6th, during halftime of the football game. We will recognize our 6th, 7th, and 9th grade students along with their teachers plus we will announce our students of the month. The mighty mite Cheer squad will be performing after that, so get ready for some great entertainment.
We will also be kicking off our TSA fundraiser event in between 1st and 2nd quarters. We will be raising funds for the family of Parker Ross-Underwood, a 5th grader and son of our 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Fly. We will pass around buckets to get us started. So come hear about this family and ways you can help. It's always a great day to be a Longhorn!

A few of our 5th grade students are creating a newspaper for our elementary school! Please enjoy reading it every month and stay up to date on all things Alex Elementary!
