5th gr. is leaving a little mark for their underclassmen as they prepare to transition to the junior high. The students painted library sticks with encouraging messages & school colors for the elementary kids to use.

We are so excited that we were able to test all 3rd-6th graders today. Still at 100%. Our elementary greeted our testers with a red carpet walk through to help relax our students and encourage them. It's so great to be a Longhorn.
We have another day of testing tomorrow. Students in the high school building, please remember to charge your Chromebooks and have them ready for tomorrow. Good luck to our Longhorns!

Below is the update schedule for the HS baseball district tournament at Big Pasture, tomorrow, April 22nd.
The HS baseball game at Ninnekah today, April 21st, has been canceled.
The baseball Districts will now be played on Tuesday, April 22nd and Wednesday, April 23rd. We will post the updated schedule as soon as we get it.

JH baseball will not play in the Verden festival tomorrow, April 22nd. Today was the final game of the JH season. Go longhorns!

This week is our big week of testing. For our students in the HS building, please make sure Chromebooks are charged every day. Our students who take the naturalization test and ACT on the 23rd will need a Chromebook as well.
Reminder if you have a HS student that is in the 5th Hour Music Technology/Composition class, we will be leaving at 8:45 in the morning (tomorrow, Monday 21st) to go to The Academy of Contemporary Music in downtown OKC. Students will need to bring money for Raising Cane's after the tour. We will be back last hour.

Congratulations to our juniors, 8th graders, and 5th graders who have had 100% attendance so far during testing. The juniors took 3 tests, one including the 5 hour ACT. The 5th and 8th have taken one. So far, everyone showed up. We appreciate the students and parents for your commitment. Good luck to all of our testers this week! You've got this.

Spring is moving fast and we have a few changes/additions to the spring calendar to note. Students who qualified for NHS will have received an invitation if they were at school on Thursday. Students who will be receiving awards at the Academic & Athletic Banquet will receive an invitation closer to the event. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the school. Thank you!
