JH Choir parents: Our JH Choir will be doing a nursing home goodwill caroling tour on Thurs. Dec. 14th immediately after school. This trip is completely OPTIONAL since it is after school. If your student expressed a desire to go, they came home yesterday with a permission form. We were waiting for a 2nd care facility to confirm with us and they did today, so the schedule on this note is the final one and has been updated. Please have your student return this note no later than Tuesday if you would like them to go. Thank you.
Dec. 15th is an early release day! Elem. carline can begin at 2:10, MS/HS will be released at 2:20; at 2:25 the buses will move over to load at the elementary. Students return in January 3rd. Have a safe and happy holiday season!

Alex FFA was challenged in the Oklahoma Pork Industry #GiveAHam program. Today, they donated a ham to the Alex Community Center, and challenged First National Bank of Alex to give Give a Ham. #OklahomaPork

Alex FFA members Hays Heldermon, Oliver Selzer, Conner Harrison, and Ray Pettit attended the Oklahoma FFA Lead 360 Conference at Camp Cargill in Sparks, OK this past weekend. They listened to motivational speakers, worked on goal setting and teamwork, and met other FFA members from across the state.

Don't forget Christmas pictures are scheduled for tomorrow, Dec. 6th! Students taking pictures must have some sort of order form for them to be photographed. Order forms have been sent home with Elementary Students, MS & HS students can pick up a form in the HS office.

Blood Drive December 12 at the Alex HS from 11-4! Appointments can be made online at obi.org or through Amy Loggins at [email protected]. You can specify your donation to benefit an individual in need by simply filling out a form provided at the blood drive. Thank you for always supporting those in need!

It's GAME DAY! Longhorn Basketball season opener is TONIGHT, November 30th. JV Boys will play at 5:00, HS Girls will tip off at 6:30 with the HS boys to follow. All tickets are $5. We hope to see everyone tonight as our Longhorns & Lady Longhorns take on the Verden Tigers.
