5th Grade has been studying and researching ecosystems. We wrapped up our unit with some amazing dioramas!









It's GAME DAY! Longhorn Basketball season opener is TONIGHT, November 30th. JV Boys will play at 5:00, HS Girls will tip off at 6:30 with the HS boys to follow. All tickets are $5. We hope to see everyone tonight as our Longhorns & Lady Longhorns take on the Verden Tigers.


Alex Elementary students were visited by the Lawton Ballet Nutcracker Cast today. The performance was amazing and we are thankful to have gotten to share this experience with our students and staff! 🩰🌲🍬🍭




Your Alex Longhorn Drumline will be showcased in Chickasha's Annual Lighted Christmas Parade this coming Saturday, Dec. 2nd, at 6 pm through downtown Chickasha. They would love to have supporters cheering them on as they make the one-mile march! We hope to see you there!

The 5th & 6th grade academic team went to their first competition today. These kids stepped out of their comfort zone and tried something new. They each learned something new and are ready for the next one.

The girls in the elementary building learned all about table etiquette in their Character Ed class with Mr. Doty just before Thanksgiving break! Thank you for teaching our students more about appropriate manners and behavior! They loved their tea parties!

5/6 basketball that was scheduled for December 11th has been rescheduled for November 28th. 4:30 start. Minco at Alex.

Alex Public Schools is hosting Class C Football Semi Finals today.
Tipton vs. Waynoka 1:00 pm
Timberlake vs. Ryan 7:00 pm
Tickets may be purchased on GoFan or may be purchased at the gate for $10.
Tipton and Ryan are scheduled to be in a district with Alex for the next 2 years.

Alex Public Schools Wellness Center will be closed today due to APS hosting the Class C FB Semifinals.

Alex cheerleaders, Sage Heldermon and Cale Beckham, are in New York City this week to be part of one of the Big Apple's most time-honored Thanksgiving traditions. They were named All Star at cheer camp and given the opportunity to join cheerleaders from across the country to perform in the 97th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. They are part of the Spirit of America performance. Keep an eye out for them! We're proud of you, ladies!

Congratulations to the 7th Grade Boys BB Team and Coaches Hollingshed and Byrne. They went 3-1 this week in the Dibble Tournament to finish 3rd. Their only loss was in OT.
7th Grade Girls and Coach James went 2-2. They battled hard and gained valuable experience.
