There will be a slip and slide at the kids Softball camp today. Please bring a towel and extra clothes. We will be at the softball field.

2024-2025 juniors and seniors- if you plan on taking concurrent classes you should have already submitted your authorization form (jrs have to apply also), to ensure you will get into classes. If you haven't done that, please do so. If you missed the mandatory meeting, we will do another one in Aug. You can access concurrent information/requirements from the Alex website under counselor corner/higher ed. If you have questions please email Mrs. Byrne.

Thank you to the Reeves family for bringing Jake's rib to our faculty and staff to celebrate teacher appreciation week. Thank you to the students and parents who spoiled the teachers this week. We have the very best at APS!

WHAT A GREAT WAY TO END THE YEAR! Upon hearing news of the choir of the day trophy, our Mixed Choir learned today that they were also one of two choirs to win the Choir of the Week trophy! This means that out of 6 choirs per day for two weeks, your Alex Mixed Choir was one of the top two Choirs in the entire two-week long contest! With it being the last day of school, not all are pictured here, but what a wonderful year for these Longhorn Musicians!
Congratulations and good job, Choir!

Our students and staff have been busy this week! We've got lots of new photos uploaded to the Yearbook fundraiser website.

We appreciate all of the love and support shown to our teachers during this week. Thank you to the Foster family and the Bates family for the sweet treats!

Thank you to the Main St. Church of Christ for making lunch for the Alex Faculty and Staff. Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to the best teachers!

Students should have turned in all library books and technology by the end of the week. Any items checked out by your child and not returned, will need to be found or paid for. Thank you for helping us find the missing items!

This group just found out today that they won the competition trophy for last week's contest! This means that they placed ahead of all other much larger schools that they competed with that day! They were awarded all straight superior ratings and brought home a trophy for those ratings, which qualified them to be in the running for overall choir of the day. This is quite an accomplishment and we are so proud of the hard work this group has put in this year. It has definitely paid off! Great job, Horns!

Congratulations to these students that placed in the top 10 at the Tournament of Champions Scholastic contest!
