The junior class has paid for unlimited downloads, so you'll only have to pay if you are ordering prints. PLEASE IGNORE THE "BUY GALLERY DOWNLOAD" OPTION or you will be paying for a free service. If you want to order prints, just select the picture and click the green "Buy photos" option. There is an option on that menu for you to select multiple photos. This is processed through an independent lab, but Alex Yearbook does get a small percentage of the profit.

For those attending Prom/Promenade tonight (starting at 7):
-Students park and enter BEHIND (west side of) the Barn. Please arrive between 6:30 and 6:50 so promenade can start right at 7 pm.
-Parents and guests enter from the Main Street (east side) entrance. Doors will open at 6:50 to families and guests; please do not try to enter early.
-Don't stress about getting perfect pictures - we've got you covered! Yearbook staff will be taking posed and candid photos all evening and they will be posted to alexyearbook.smugmug.com by Monday evening.
Seniors, don't forget to turn in the local scholarships to Mrs. Byrne's mailbox by the end of the day today (April 4th). Check out all of the scholarships!
PreK has been learning about the Solar Eclipse this week. During art we created our own total eclipses.
Parents and Guardians of 5th & 6th Grade Track Athletes:
The track meet in Velma is running behind schedule. The bus will leave Velma around 4:10 p.m. and head toward Alex at that time.
PK Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year will be held on April 10, 2024, in the Elementary STEM Room from 4-6 p.m. Please enter through the front doors of the elementary building and follow the signs in the hall to the STEM Room. All students who live in Alex School District and are 4 years old on or before September 1, 2024, are eligible. Please bring the following documents to enroll your child: proof of residency, official birth certificate, shot record, CDIB card if Native American, and social security card. Proof of residency must be a utility bill with your address and the parent/guardian's name. Acceptable utility bills include an electric, water, or gas bill. We look forward to seeing you then.

Any students that have signed up to attend after-prom, please get a permission form from Mrs. Pettijohn tomorrow. Students will not be allowed to attend without this form. Also, those students bringing dates from out-of-town need to pay $25 for your date to attend after-prom.
The CCRA tests for juniors will begin tomorrow, Wednesday, April 3rd. The Juniors will take the US History test at 8:00 AM. The ACT will be on Wednesday, April 10th and the Science test will be on Tuesday, April 16th. Students need to be in attendance all of those days. Career tech students (11th grade) will be excused on test days. Good luck Longhorns!

HS baseball against Maysville is cancelled today. We will now play them April 16th, here, at 4:30.

Several of the "local" Scholarships are due on Thursday, April 4th or on Friday, April 5th. The 2024 Local Scholarship, the Tanner Brand, and The Boatwright scholarships are due April 4th. The Smart Money Scholarship (First National Bank) is due April 5th. The 2024 Local Scholarship recipients are chosen by a committee of people so it's several applications in one.
