It is with deep sadness that we share the tragic passing of our former student, Dustin James, on December 24. Dustin was known for his humor, kindness, and the way he never met a stranger. His impact on those who knew him will not be forgotten, and he will always remain a part of our Longhorn family. Our hearts and prayers are with Dustin’s loved ones, especially the Otey family, as well as our entire Longhorn community as we navigate this difficult loss together. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 31st at 2:00 PM in the Alex gym. Please continue to keep Dustin’s family, friends, and our school community in your thoughts and prayers.

Reminder: Friday, Dec. 19th, is an early release day. Elementary car line can begin at 2:10, MS/HS will be released at 2:20 to load buses, buses will leave HS at 2:25 to load at the elementary. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all! We will see staff back on January 5th and students will return on January 6th.

Santa's Workshop will be open in Alex Elementary from 12-15 to 12-19. Students will have the opportunity to shop for gifts for their family and friends. Prices range from $0.25 tp $3.
