Update: power has been restored. School will be in session as normal tomorrow. **Due to a local electrical outage, power is currently off at the school. Campus will be closed until further notice. Alternative board meeting plans are being determined at this time.

Letter Jackets will be delivered next week for those who ordered. Please make plans to have payment due ready at the time of delivery. Once the delivery day is set, we will notify parents.

Kapp Dunn is the winner of our December library drawing. Longhorn patrons are rewarded with knowledge and chocolate from reading our books!!!


Congratulations to our October Students of the month - McKenna Hurley, Maurice Gray, Yoselyn Rios and Ryder Drennan. Also congrats to our November Students of the month - Abby Pettijohn, Hays Heldermon, KJ Keller, and Luke Mainka. Great job!

Our Christmas Parties will be on December 20, 2024 @ 12:00 p.m.
Early release will begin at 2:10 the same day!


Elementary candy winner for this month. Alylah Dowling from 4th grade had the correct guess. This contest is every time a student checks out a book they get a chance to make the correct guess and we pull the winner.


Reminder: Christmas pictures are Wednesday! Forms were sent home last week and only students with a filled out form will have their picture taken.



The Elementary cookie dough fundraiser pick up is tomorrow from 4:00-5:30 in the Elementary Library.

Today the HS Student Council went to their first ever student exchange at Dibble. It was a lot of fun for them to get out of their comfort zone and be around other Student Councils!











The Alex 4-H meeting is this Wednesday, Dec. 11th at 3:45 pm in HS room 309. Students (age 9 and older) interested in learning more about 4-H are welcome to attend. Younger students are welcome but will need a parent or guardian to join them.

Come support the Lady Longhorns tomorrow, Dec. 8th. They will serve loaded nachos with smoked queso from 11:30-1. Meat options are ground beef, pulled pork, or chicken. They will also serve salads and tacos for those who don't want nachos. Hope to see you!

Third grade has been working hard on their first PBL (project based learning)! They've mapped out all of the items a prospective client wants and are currently working on drawing up a blueprint.
