Don't miss Monday night's game! We will recognize Kolton Kohler & McKenna Hurley at half time of the girls game for their achievements. Kolton had the Grand Champion Junior Wether Doe at the National Western Livestock Show in Denver & McKenna Hurley exhibited the Division 1 Champion Market Lamb at the Arizona National Livestock Show in Phoenix. The snow put a damper on recognizing these kids tonight so we will recognize them on Monday.

Monday night will be a busy night! We will recognize our Senior basketball players, cheerleaders and drum line at 6:00. At half-time of the girls game we will recognize Chase Byrne for achieving 1000 points during his high school career. It will also be Secret Fan reveal! Sign your name to your gift or deliver it in person.


Due to the continuation of falling snow and freezing temperatures, Friday, February 4th will be a SNOW DAY! There will be no activities Thursday or Friday evening. We hope everyone is able to stay safe during this time.

The Alex Local Show for Saturday February 5th has a new start time. The show will start at 10 AM with the fish fry & trophy auction beginning at 5 PM.

Alex Pre-K through 6th Graders are invited to the annual Valentine’s Dance! Join us on Tuesday, February 8th from 5:30-7:30 in the High School Commons. Admission is $5 and pictures are $2. As a reminder, PK-1st Grade students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.♥️♥️♥️


9th-12th grade Students who have met with Mrs. Byrne about ICAP, please remember to bring your signed edplans back. Parents, check your email for ICAP progress. All 9-12 students should have meetings done this week.

Alex Public Schools is actively monitoring the weather situation. Once the predictions are as accurate as possible, a decision will be made. We will send a call and text if school is closed. If you have a new number that is not updated in the system you will not receive a call. If you sent stop to a school text, you have been removed from receiving texts. To reverse that you need to send start to 98900. We will also post to facebook, twitter, the app and webpage if the decision to cancel school has to happen. We appreciate your patience during this uncertainty.


We play Fletcher in HS tomorrow, January 31. This is a make up game from our game that got postponed earlier this season.
JH girls will start at 4:00, boys will follow Vs. Ninnekah as scheduled. No 7/8 grade games will be played.

These 7 amazing select vocalists from the Alex Choral program are having a great time growing as musicians at the Circle The State With Song Clinic. They have worked very hard over the past two months doing extra rehearsals as well as working in class and will be presenting a concert of 8 pieces of music tonight at the Nancy O’ Brien Center for the Performing Arts in Norman at 6 pm.



Congratulations to our 7th/8th grade academic team for placing first at their district meet on Thursday! Way to go Longhorns!!!
