The 5th-6th football team won the championship in little league! Proud of these boys and the hard work they put in. Showed a lot of toughness and grit this season. Thank you to the cheerleaders, parents, fans, school and community for all your support! Go Longhorns!

Reminder that this week is Red Ribbon Week & “Trick the Halls” at Alex Schools! October 27th - 31st the Longhorns are celebrating healthy choices, school spirit, and Halloween fun! Each day brings a new dress-up theme and a chance to show your Longhorn pride while pledging to stay drug-free. Dress-Up Days: Monday: Pajamas! Tuesday: Crazy fit, hair, socks, etc! Wednesday: White Lies T-shirts! Thursday: Wear Red! Friday: Halloween Costumes! Friday at Power 20, Middle School and High School students will have a chance to win class cup points for their grade by entering the Costume Contest! Friday afternoon, we’ll wrap up the week with our annual Trick the Halls at 2:15 pm! Elementary students will make their way through the halls collecting treats from our middle and high school classrooms. Costumes, candy, and community — it’s one of our favorite Longhorn traditions!

Join us TONIGHT at our Halloween Carnival at the Alex High School from 6-8! Bingo, Games, Silent Auction, King & Queen, Book Fair, etc! Tickets will be $1! *due to the weather, there will NOT be a haunted trail following the carnival.

It's that time of year! The book fair will open Saturday night, October 25th from 6-8 p.m. during our fall carnival. We will also be open the following week during school hours, Oct. 27th-31st.

Due to the rescheduling of the high school football game to Thursday the 23rd in Cyril, the We Can Be the Difference presentation for parents presented by Officer Melton that was originally scheduled for Thursday night the 23rd is being postponed to a later date to allow everyone the chance to go to Cyril and show their support for our football team! A rescheduled date for the presentation will be announced at a later time.

CHOIR FAMILIES: I sent home permissions last week for 2 OPTIONAL events. I need those forms TOMORROW or THURSDAY at the latest. OU YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN WORKSHOPS and CIRCLE THE STATE. Deadlines to enroll in these are end of this week and I need time to process all of these. Please contact Mr. Lewis if you have questions.

Ryder Drennan competed in the Chickasha Region Greenhand Quiz Contest today in El Reno. Ryder placed second and qualified for the State Greenhand Quiz Contest. The contest will be held next Tuesday in Stillwater. Congratulations!
