Christmas Program Information

MONDAY, DECEMBER 5TH AT 2:15 and 7:00 PM!

We will present “A Cozy Christmas” - elementary vocal music concert, as well as our JH Choir/percussion ensemble in concert!

All students have worked hard for this for weeks.  Please make it urgent that your child attend this performance!  This will be a required semester test grade for those in 5th-8th JH Choir/percussion. There will be no HS drumline on our Christmas Concert, since they will be in the middle of so many activities already.

If you will remember our new changes from spring that will still be happening for this Christmas showcase- First, the location will be in the HS gym. Next, we will be doing two concerts, there will be an informal rehearsal run at 2:15, where your student can wear whatever they would like to school that day, and then we will have the official concert in concert dress at 7:00 pm. The concert should only last about 45 minutes to an hour.

For concert dress, elementary students should wear their best school appropriate pajamas. This will have a Polar Express winter pajama kind of vibe. Red/green Christmas pajamas are highly encouraged, but these are all suggestions, -please don’t feel the need to buy anything special or be out cost for this, just do as you best see fit.  For everyone, PLEASE REMEMBER-NO HATS, as they will cover up the face of the person behind them on the risers.  JH/HS mixed choir/percussion class, please wear very nice Sunday style dress. Christmas colors are encouraged, but again, please do not buy anything special just for this, just wear whatever you have.

PLEASE NOTE: AT BOTH PRINCIPAL’S REQUEST, SCHOOL DOORS WILL NOT BE UNLOCKED UNTIL 6:40 pm that night.  Our teachers need time to prepare for the evening and we want the holding sections to be staffed with a teacher and not unattended.  When you bring your students in, just bring them straight to the gym and we will seat them all on the back visitor side with their teachers. You will see signs going in order from left to right when looking from home side. Just find their grade section and drop them with their teachers or aides and you may go find your seat. When your child’s portion of the concert is finished, you are free to meet them at the front home side entry and take them, or we invite you to stay and watch all of our wonderful performing groups.  Please bear with us on still getting used to these changes, as it will be a learning curve, but we are looking forward to a great night! See you then!
